Practical help for small businesses

What does your
admin time add up to?

Use your own numbers to understand one recurring task. This is a planning estimate, not a promise of savings from Kairo or any other tool.

The starting values are an illustration. Include everyone's occurrences once; do not multiply by team size again.

Your estimate

Enter your numbers and select Calculate.

How the calculation works

Weekly hours = minutes per occurrence × occurrences per week ÷ 60. Estimated hours freed = weekly hours × your chosen reduction ÷ 100. The time value is those hours multiplied by the hourly value you entered. Annual estimates assume 52 identical weeks.

For example, 20 minutes repeated 10 times per week is 3.33 hours. A hypothetical 25% reduction would free about 0.83 hours per week, valued at about CAD 33.33 if you use CAD 40 per hour.

Time freed is not necessarily money saved. Subscription costs, setup, training, seasonality and whether you can use that time productively will affect the real outcome. Compare actual results after trying a change.

Keep the estimate useful

  1. Time the task during a normal week.
  2. Include checking and correcting the work.
  3. Change one part of the process.
  4. Measure again before deciding whether to expand it.

Your calculator entries stay in this tab and are not submitted to Kairo. Refreshing resets them.
